Re: ANY GOOD BREAKDOWN/RESCUE STORIES OUT THERE?

Hey Beezer, excellent stories and pics! Those are good examples of things that can happen but I was unaware of. I suppose it'd be good to keep extra skirt material and glue onboard. I wonder if it would make any difference having individual skirt fingers vs the Sevtec tube skirt for maintaining skir...

ANY GOOD BREAKDOWN/RESCUE STORIES OUT THERE?

Seems like on most boats, if the engine conks out, a trolling motor can get you home or at least to shore. I'm curious if anyone has had breakdowns and how you got to shore or back home. Or if anyone has suggestions on being prepared, I'd find that interesting, too. Thanks.

PUGET SOUND PLACES TO GO HOVERING?

I've just been watching some Sevtec videos on YT and started wondering where good places are to take out a hovercraft in the Puget Sound/Washington area. I've spent most of my boating life trying to avoid shallows and mudflats so if I ever get a hovercraft, it would be good to have some destinations...

Good info. We have oysters and barnacles where I would like to use the craft so anything that can help sounds good to me. Thanks.

Re: Bigfoot, a Sevtec Surveyor

Hi Bigfoot, I'm new on the forum so am following up on your Surveyor that was for sale last year. I assume you sold it? How'd you like the size and power? I've been thinking about the Vanguard but maybe something a little bigger would be better. Do you happen to know of any other Sevtecs for sale? I...

COST TO BUILD A VANGUARD?

What's a ball park cost for an owner built Vanguard these days? It'd be built to the plans using all new materials, engine, props, hardware, etc without buying pre-made pieces.
