Sevtec’s for sale?

Post by Mudbay »

Hi.

Any Vanguard or slightly larger Sevtec’s for sale these days? I’d prefer NW U.S. but for the right one could travel.

I have an Ivoprop with electric pitch change for sale. the blades are pretty much like new. I bought the pitch motor when they first came out and put it on one of my ground adjustable props. I modified the motor so the power wires could be run down the prop shaft and forward to big slip rings. the Ivo method for aircraft would never work on a Sev. anyway, the motor is older but works fine, the blades are a couple years old but with only about 15 hours on them. I also have a spare motor for parts (it runs, broken gear), 2 spinners, and an assortment of bearings, the shaft with slip rings, a prop flange/space mount, actuator switch with wiring and such. I'd take 650 bucks for all that, plus actual shipping (or close enough). thats less than the price of just buying 3 blades. the spinners are 60 each. motors are 180.

the variable pitch is handy on the single engine craft because you can alter the lift/thrust ratio to better meet conditions. I'm selling this because I went to two engines. I thought I might build another craft, but it's not in the cards.

I also have a good engine mount/prop stand for a 16' Surveyor and a bunch of pullies & belts etc very cheap, some free, but its all in Alaska

Bryan, move this if there is a better spot. thanks

heres the prop shaft & slip rings, they were covered by a dome in use so no water spray
